Submissions

If you need to be in touch about a submission you have already made, please email hello@causeexplorationprizes.com. The Cause Exploration Prizes have been an experiment for us. We may run them again in the future, but we’re not sure. If you have a great idea for a new cause area for philanthropic spending, try posting it on the Effective Altruism Forum.

All good-faith submissions (see FAQs for details) will be shared on the Effective Altruism Forum to allow others to learn from them. If you prefer, your submission can be published anonymously.

There are two ways to submit your work to us:

  1. Share your work as a post on the Effective Altruism Forum and then complete the submission form

  2. Alternatively, upload your work to us directly using the submission form. We will then publish your work on the Forum for you.

When you submit your work, you will be asked for your name and an email address. This is so that we can provide you with a prize or participation award.

There are additional questions to help us better understand who has submitted work. All of these questions are optional. Your answers will not impact how we judge your submission or consider you for prizes or participation awards.
